In this day and age of jet travel, in a two-week period it is possible to enjoy a diversity of locations that are hundreds if not thousands of miles apart. Enjoy Zanzibar Island

Next time you organize a holiday take everybody with you to Zanzibar. In this town you will also visit Snake Islands that will live your visit very memorable. There is also a marine park known as Chole Marine Park off a town known as Stone Town. The turtles come to breed on this island you can also enjoy a rare spectacle of the red colobus monkeys, small antelopes that graze around and other primates.

Zanzibar Island has a sea turtle protection area for the endangered species. Also remember that every time you are in an area like this where people really value their culture you have to respect them. This is because the Arabs who had first settled here introduced very great ways of architecture and built houses that still stand firmly on the ground up to date. There buildings also represent a very rich culture of the people.

Zanzibar Island has great history and there are ever caves where slaves used to be kept awaiting to be sold to the sea pirates. This makes it easy for an outing to swim in the ocean for those who love sunbathing. The coast is surrounded by coral reefs and the sand has created an offshore line that helps slow down the tidal waves. It all depends on how you want to enjoy your holiday. You can muddle in the sand or surf.

Luxury Barbados holidays

The north of the island is often where locals will go to relax and escape the crowds and is a perfect place to find hidden beaches where it feels you have the whole place to yourselves. Swimming is safe in some the more sheltered rocky coves, but the seas can get quite rough. The northern coast of Barbados is even more rocky and rough round the edges, but is full of remote coastal areas and spectacular weathered cliffs.

The east coast is less populated than many areas of the island and can be a nice place to escape the crowds in the high tourist seasons. There are some very picturesque landscapes on the east coast and is a place of beautiful windswept vistas and a more relaxed atmosphere. Huge Atlantic wave crash on the shores and the beaches are probably better for topping up the tan and walking, unless you are there to catch a wave or two. Moving on to the east coast of Barbados and you find yourself in surfer's paradise. The beaches benefit from small to medium waves, so this part of the coast is very popular with divers and kite surfers.

The south coast is Barbados' tourist centre and benefits from calmer seas than some of the island's other shores. Bridgetown is situated on the south western coast of Barbados and is connected to the south coast by a long stretch of hotels and resorts.

The Strange Sensation of Disneyland Paris

While this name played on America's romance of A telling sign of its lack of European-ness is its misjudged first inception as 'Euro Disney'. The park is best viewed as notedly removed from France and Europe. Though there will still be some grumbling amongst intellectuals. Now with the millions of visitors it brings in to France, it seems their complaints may be undermined by the tourism revenues.

While Disneylands have nestled comfortably in to Orlando, Anaheim and Tokyo, Europe have been less welcoming to these cartoon settlements. At first there was fierce resistance to the resort. The theme park seems to be simultaneously a worm hole in to the Cartoons and in to America's pop-consciousness. Somehow this isn't the case, it delivers that 'Disney experience' without a hint of sarcasm, in fact there is a gung-ho American sincerity. Also easy to imagine is the Parisian staff making children cry with that stereotypical rudeness so commonly applied the French.

It certainly seems strange how joyous this holiday resort is, you could easily imagine a maudlin Mickey Mouse with an omnipresent Galouise in his mouth, as he recites Baudelaire in that helium voice of his. Yet since 1992 this peculiar irony has been not only been surviving but prospering for nearly 20 years becoming Europe's most popular tourist destination attracting over 15,400,000 in 2009. Disneyland Paris sounds to me like a practical joke, a contradiction in terms; the combination of all American Disney with The all French Paris. Somehow I can't imagine it, it doesn't seem possible, yet some how it is.

The Pantanal, Brazil's Other Jungle

And because the seasonal flooding has preserved the region from much human development, the Pantanal is an exquisite place to spend a few days exploring a pristine jungle. Located in the southwest of the country, the Pantanal jungle is made up of wetlands and canyons, a diverse topography that nourishes many a tropical bird species, plus plenty of pumas, jaguars, anteaters, capuchin monkeys, and capybaras. Brazil is famous for its lion's share of the Amazon basin rainforest, but this vast and sprawling country is also home to another exotic and wildlife-rich jungle, the Pantanal.

Wine Touring In Apulia

A usually better choice is the red or rosé Copertino DOC made from Apulia's signature red grape Negroamaro in the south near Lecce. It is made in a wide variety of styles, but I wouldn't usually write home about it. The region's best-known wine is Castel del Monte DOC produced near the capital Bari in the central north. To some extent this is true, but forward-looking producers are making a real effort to trade quality for quantity. The plains are hot and fertile, so that sounds like three strikes against fine wine.

Apulia, also known as Puglia, is a very high-volume wine producer. Why not finish your tour at the inexpensive Wine Bar Corte dei Pandolfini? Finish your tour in the relatively unknown city of Lecce, sometimes called "the Florence of the south." You'll find baroque architecture, a cathedral, historic churches, a Piazza, and the remains of a Roman Amphitheater. The Grotte di Castellana form the largest network of caves in all Italy.

Would you believe that some have been transformed into wineries? Don't miss the unique Apulian habitations, Trulli, that look like limestone teepees. There's the mysterious eight-sided Castel del Monte. You may want to visit the Foresta Umbra (Shady Forest), a real ecological delight bursting with animal and plant life.

The boot's spur is the beautiful Promontorio del Gargano (Gargano Promontory). This is part of the south, in many ways the real, unspoiled Italy. So you have decided to go to Apulia, the heel of the Italian boot surrounded by the Adriatic Sea and the Gulf of Taronto.
